Paris, Tenn.–With $4,264 raised Tuesday, the grand total after two days is $12,099 for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction.
Organizations donating items today were: Henry Co. Fair Association, Henry County Farmers Market, Masonic/OES Martha Chapter, First United Pentacostal Church and Moose Lodge. Auctioneer was Junior Staggs and the Kiwanis Club will man the phones.
On Wednesday, items will be donated by East Wood Clinic, Tomorrow’s Hope, Paris Surgical Specialists, and West Tennessee Bone and Joint. Amy Veazey will be auctioneer, with the Paris Lions Club manning the phones.
The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. and you can listen on our station WHNY 104.7 FM/ 1000 AM. Or you can watch on the Helping Hand website. Auction phone is 731-644-1695.
And, you can always watch it live at the Paris Convention Center.
Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised for 90 non-profit organizations. Helping Hand raises money each year for over 90 non-profit and civic groups.
