Murray, Ky.–The Murray Police Department has announced the passing of retired Murray Police Sergeant Ricky Starks.
Sergeant Starks retired from MPD in 2021 and he had previously served as a Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy, a member of Calloway County Fire Rescue, and a United States Marine.
Sergeant Starks is remembered as a no-nonsense leader who cared for his officers and loved his community.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and are pending at this time.
