Dover, Tenn.–A man who was visiting his girlfriend in jail was arrested in the Stewart County Jail parking lot–for possession of heroin, the same charge his girlfriend was arrested for recently.
Sheriff Frankie Gray said his pledge to clean up drugs in the county often is made a little easier by the drug offenders themselves.
On Wednesday, December 20th, an Erin man was visiting his girlfriend who had been arrested a few weeks ago for possession of heroin. A Deputy realized the man was driving on a suspended driver’s license. The driver refused to consent for deputies to search his car.
K-9 Harry was deployed and indicated a positive response for drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle by Sgt. Robbie MacDonald and Deputy Kyle Farrington turned up heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested was Edward Danner, age 44.
