Linda Lou Hart Wilson, 85, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Charter Senior Living in Paris.
Linda was born Friday, February 18, 1938, in Puryear, Tennessee, to the late Brint Hart and the late Lottie Ferguson Hart.
She was a longtime secretary at Puryear School.
Linda was a loving wife and mother and a loyal friend and neighbor.
She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray, Kentucky.
She was married Saturday, June 30, 1956, to Charles Edward Wilson, who preceded her in death Sunday, November 30, 2003.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister: Alice Faye Hart Templeton.
She is survived by her son: Charles “Chuck” (Kathryn) Wilson, of Paris, Tennessee; two brothers: John (Cindy) Hart, of Hazel, Kentucky, and David M. (Kim) Hart, of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Jenny Wilson, Josh (Ashley) Michael, Matt (Chaunda) Michael, and Taylor (Melissa) Michael; seven great-grandchildren; and three nieces: Traci Templeton, Terri Holl, and Johnna Wade.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with John Dale and Glynn Orr officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Hart, David M. Hart, Owen Wade, Chasden Wade, and Matt Michael.
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
