Mrs. Katie Hill Patterson, 85, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at AHC of McKenzie.
She was born on August 20, 1938 in Atwood, Tennessee to Albert and Rosa Oliver Wilbanks Crocker.
She was a former factory worker at Bill Sills Sportswear, in Huntingdon, and Duck Head, in McLemoresville,
She was a member of Union Academy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands: Ollie Hill, who died in 2002, and Billy Joe Patterson, who died in 2018; her sisters and brothers: Lillie Pearl Newbill, Grace Wallace, Helen Newbill, Arthur Crocker and Otis Crocker .
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Jerry Stevens, of Lexington, Tennessee; her son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Carol Hill, of Gleason, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Stacie Russell, Mindy Dill, Brandon Hill, and Carson Hill; and two great-grandchildren Beau Barksdale, and Olivia Russell. Mrs. Katie also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Patterson will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. with Brother Jason Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow at Union Academy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
