
Ronald Hugh “Ron” Wyatt, 79, of Henry, Tennessee, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris.
Ron was born Tuesday, March 28, 1944, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Doyle Wyatt and the late Mabel Sanders Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter in infancy: Tracy Wyatt; and five brothers: Richard Wyatt, Robert Wyatt, John Wyatt, Calvin Wyatt, and Donald Wyatt.
He was a self-employed mechanic for many years.
Ron was a volunteer firefighter with Henry Fire Department for 44 years and the Road Manager for Circle A Donkey Basketball for 19 years.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Ron loved his children and grandchildren was a true family man.
He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church.
He was married Saturday, May 23, 1992, to DeDe King Wyatt, who survives, of Henry, Tennessee.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by five children: Shelia (Keith) Martin, of Paris, Tennessee, Cindy Pruitt, of McKenzie, Tennessee, Jason (Vallena) Wyatt, of Buchanan, Tennessee, Paul (Brittany) Wyatt, of Jackson, Tennessee, and Ryan Wyatt (Mallorie Ellis), of Atwood, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Amanda (JMichael) French, Alyvia Taylor, Karson Wyatt, Hallie Wyatt, Brittany Arrand, and Samuel Arrand; and eight great-grandchildren: Bradley, Everett, Dakota, Emily, Sunshine, Richard, Miguel, and Yolani.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bobby Campbell officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Wyatt, Paul Wyatt, Keith Martin, Keith Qualls, Jason Wyatt, and Karson Wyatt. Named as honorary pallbearers are the members of the Henry Volunteer Fire Department.
Burial will be in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Henry, Tennessee.
