Seven Henry County Teachers Awarded Tenure

Paris, Tenn.–It was a big night for several Henry County Schools teachers Thursday night as they were awarded tenure and honored by the board of education with a reception. The school board meeting was held at the Socratic classroom at Henry County High School.

In other business:
Dyersburg State President Dr. Scott Cook was introduced to the board and audience. He shared how the local school system and Dyersburg State partnership is a great opportunity for our students to earn a 2-year degree while staying in Paris. The Dyersburg State Branch opened recently in the Central Services building on Jones Bend Rd. Extended.
The board’s new student ambassador for 2023-24 was introduced to the board: Garrett Stephens.
