Robert Dale Bowers, 64, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee, with his loving family by his side.
He was born Saturday, September 19, 1959, in Stewart County, Tennessee, the beloved son of the late Robert Nelson Bowers and Ora Mae Fitzhugh Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: James Donald Bowers.
Robert was of the Baptist faith.
He was a hard worker and provider for his family.
He retired as a laborer from Herbert Keatts Sawmill.
Robert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing with family and friends.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially sharing memories with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Randy Bowers, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Misty Waynick (Josh) of Indian Mound, Tennessee, and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery.
