Union City High School will be well-represented in the Northwest Tennessee Honor Choir.
Six UCHS students auditioned and were recently selected to be a part of the elite group following tryouts at Union University in Jackson.
Addison Kitchen (Soprano 1), Hannah Moon (Alto 1), Myranda Parr (Alto 2), Annie Burcham (Alto 2), Colton Gary (Bass 1), and Nathan Finch (Bass 1) will represent UCHS in a choir that will include more than 200 voices from across the area.
Students from all over Northwest Tennessee (outside Shelby County) learned excerpts from collegiate-level choral music in preparation for their audition.
The group will perform in concert in November in Jackson after a two-day rehearsal period.
