Patty W. Gibson, 90, of Paris, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at Charter Senior Living of Jackson.
Patty W. Gibson was born Thursday, May 31, 1933, in Henry County, Tennessee, to the late Marvin Wright and the late Ruby Smith Wright.
Patty enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Friday, June 24, 1955, she married Leon Thomas Gibson and he preceded her in death Saturday, August 26, 2023.
Patty is survived by two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Bradford of Jackson, Tennessee, and Cheryl (Bob) Reithel of Rosenburg, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Rhonda Brown of Henry & Palestine United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Honoring Ms. Gibson as pallbearers will be Michael Hanks, C.J. Hanks, Monty Jones, Marty Jones, David Jones, and Sammie Lombas.
