Shepherd’s Table To Serve Supper Thursday Evening

shepherds-table-dinner-ware

Paris, Tenn.–Shepherd’s Table will be open Thursday, October 5, with free meals available for dine-in or curbside pickup.

The Shepherd’s Table always serves supper on the first Thursday of each month, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The location is in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 105 S. Market St. in Paris.

The volunteers ask that you approach the church on Blythe St. and park by the gate next to the playground. If you are dining in, enter through the playground gate on the side courtyard.

Alsey Wheatley, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and leader of the kitchen staff, says this month’s menu will be a hearty pork stew, garlic bread and salad. Also included will be a dessert. There is no charge for the meal. Also, there will be a limited number of meals available – so everyone will be served until the food runs out.

More information about volunteering or donating to the Shepherd’s Table may be obtained by calling The First Presbyterian Church of Paris, at (731) 642-2962. If no answer, please leave a message, someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

The church welcomes everyone and hopes to see you on Thursday, October 5th, beginning at 4:30pm. Join us for worship service on Sunday mornings at 11am.
