Union City, Tenn.–Union City volleyball closed its regular season with a third straight win – 2-0 over visiting Fulton City Thursday night.
The Lady Tornadoes (6-13) will play host to South Fulton Monday in the opening round of the district tournament at 5:30 p.m. UC swept SF during the regular season, winning both at home and on the road.
Sadie Crawford, Union City’s lone senior, was honored in post-match ceremonies Thursday after the 25-6, 25-9 triumph over FC.
Breyonna Billups had five aces for the Twister girls. Sadie Crawford registered three kills and an ace, and Gracelyn Sims had a trio of kills and a block. Addison Carr finished with a pair of kills and a service ace, and Debrionna Jones had two kills.
UC finished the regular season in fourth place in the district.
