
Huntingdon, Tenn.–Join the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center, along with the Town of Huntingdon, for Huntingdon Heritage Festival featuring the The Oak Ridge Boys‘ “American Made 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour”.
It’s THIS SATURDAY, SEPT 23, at 2:00-2:30p on Huntingdon’s Court Square. And it’s all free.
As previously reported, the Oak Ridge Boys’ performance will be a highlight of day-long activities for the annual Huntingdon Heritage Festival. The day begins with opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. and will feature food trucks, vendors, petting zoo, train rides, corn hole and a Disney Dance Party (at 11). The band 24 Seven will play at 12:30 p.m.

The Oak Ridge Boys have sold more than 41 million records and are synonymous with “America, apple pie, baseball, and country music.” In addition to their many awards and accolades in the country music field, they have garnered five GRAMMY® Awards, nine GMA Dove Awards, and two American Music Awards.
The Oak Ridge Boys are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame (2015 Inductees), the Grand Ole Opry (since 2011), and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame (2000 Inductees). They are also recipients of the Academy of Country Music Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement.
The Executive Director of The Dixie Carter PAC, Angela DeMaris, says that this year’s festival will be one to be remembered. “Being the first festival after celebrating our Bicentennial of Huntingdon last year, we knew that we had to do something big in order to start off the next 200 years! Luckily, with the support of the Tennessee Arts Commission we were able to draw a major artist to our annual event celebrating our heritage, which is something the Town of Huntingdon is known for.”
