Union City, Tenn.–Congratulations to the Purple People over the weekend at the South Gibson Invitational. The band placed 2nd overall, guard 1st overall, overall Outstanding Visual Performance, and percussion 3rd overall out of 20 bands. Band officials said, “What a great way to start the season!”
