Martin, Tenn.–A Sharon man was arrested following a shooting over the weekend in Martin.
On Saturday, September 16 at approx. 10:59 am, Martin Police officers responded to Volunteer Community Hospital in reference to a 911 call from Orlando J. Saxon, age 37 of Martin. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Saxon had been shot twice with a small caliber handgun in front of 57 Lakeview circle in Martin. Saxon was treated and released from the hospital.
Investigation revealed that Devon L. Henry, age 19 of Sharon, shot the victim with a .22 caliber handgun. Henry was located in Martin on Sunday. Martin was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Endangerment involving serious injury and use of a deadly weapon. Mr. Martin will be arraigned in Weakley County General Sessions Court today.
