Dover, Tenn.–A deputy and his K9 apprehended a Cumberland City woman with meth and fentanyl in her bra outside the Stewart County Courthouse.
According to a press release issued Friday, Sgt. Robbie MacDonald was at the courthouse last week when he observed an individual with an active warrant on file. Once in custody the man asked Sgt. MacDonald to tell his girlfriend, who was in a vehicle in the parking lot, that he was going to jail.
Once Sgt. MacDonald made contact with the girlfriend, he became suspicious that drugs were present. When he was denied consent to search, K-9 Harry was deployed.
K-9 Harry gave a positive response to drugs being present in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up numerous used needles as well as many other items of drug paraphernalia. Sgt. MacDonald also saw something sticking out of the females bra.
When she removed the item it was found to be meth and fentanyl. Arrested was Jessica Stark, age 26.
