Union City, Tenn.–The crowning of a football homecoming queen tonight when Union City hosts South Fulton will culminate week-long festivities for students and faculty at UC Schools.
Activities have included dress-up theme days, fun assemblies each day at the high school, and a system-wide pep rally this afternoon at Marty Sisco Gymnasium.
Tonight’s queen will be crowned at halftime, with three seniors in the running for the honor.
Among those are:
Shelby Bondurant, daughter of Ginger and Skipper Bondurant
Emily Hammond, daughter of Krystal Hammond and Greg Hammond
Ada Rogers, daughter of Laney and Michael Rogers
The remainder of the court will consist of:
Junior Princess: Davey Frankum
Sophomore Princess: Ca’Lae Ervin
Freshman Princess: Jenna Kate Cross
Union City will be looking to beat South Fulton for the 18th time in 19 meetings in the series and win its third straight game this year after an 0-2 start to this season. The Red Devils’ only win in the series came in 1922.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
