AED & Lighting Improvements For Park Thanks To Leadership Class, Pickleball Club

Paris, Tenn.–Thanks to Leadership Henry County and the Paris Pickleball Club, Christmas come early to the city of Paris in the form of a new AED and a check for $3,500.

City Manager Kim Foster and City Recreation Supervisor Mark Tomlin accepted the donations this week.

The 2022 Henry County Leadership Class raised funds and purchased five AED machines, one of which will be installed by the Pickleball Club Vice President Adam Prince at the restroom building at the rear of Eiffel Tower Park.

The Paris Pickleball Club, represented by Mohsin Virani, presented the park with a check for $3,500.00.  These funds were proceeds from the First Annual Eiffel Tower Classic held last May and are to be used to improve lighting on the lower courts.

In accepting the donations, Foster thanked both organizations and said, “Public and private collaborations, are vital in helping us get more accomplished as a community.”
