Paris, Tenn.–Paris Special Schools Director Dr. Norma Gerrell announced Tuesday that PSSD is a Level 5 school district, the highest distinction available based on TVAAS composite scores.
Gerrell said, “The composite score includes all grade levels and all subjects. Considering all grades and subjects together, PSSD students made substantially more growth than expected in a year, according to the Tennessee Department of Education.
“Our TVAAS results highlight the effectiveness of our teachers and their dedication to helping children thrive by providing students with personalized learning opportunities that remove all barriers,” she said. “Congratulations to our PSSD community on reaching this high achievement!”
