Union City, Tenn.–Chief Karl Ullrich and Lieutenant Rick Stacks of the Union City Fire Department, along with Discovery Park Director of Events Lauren Jones, recently stopped by Union City High School to pick up posters honoring 9/11. These posters will be spread throughout the stairwell of Cooper Tower at Discovery Park to motivate climbers at Saturday’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Thank you to Hillary Webb’s art class for creating these encouraging posters. Opening ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the Stair Climb to begin at 9:30 a.m. (Discovery Park photo).
