Mrs. Iris Brashear Hubbard, 77, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Jackson General Hospital.
She had her Master of Education, and was an educator at various locations.
She was a member of First Presbyterian U.S.A.
She is survived by her husband: Reverend Doctor Julius Pratt Hubbard, of McKenzie; two sons: Lt. Colonial Julius Pratt (Jay) Hubbard, III, of Lee’s Summit, MO and Edward Augustine Hubbard, of Henry; a sister: Joy Brashear, of McKenzie; two grandchildren: Autumn Sky Hubbard and Melanie Grace Brewer.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister: Annabelle Gatley and brother: Ed Brashear
Funeral services are Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment is at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
