Martin, Tenn.–Paris Artist Dan Knowles won Best in Show at the 9th Annual Guitar As Art Invitational Art Exhibition at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The contest is a collaborate effort with UTM and The Tennessee Soybean Festival. Knowles is the artist who has created several murals in downtown Paris. A large turnout was on hand for the exhibit and reception. Awards were: Best in Show – Dan Knowles; Best Thematic – Abbie Wynn; and People’s Choice Award – Sarah Stewart-Skelton. Officials said, “Special thanks to our juror, Jack Cody, and thanks to all the community members that came out to support all this great work. What a turnout!!”
