Dover, Tenn.–The Fort Donelson Park Road gates to close at 6 p.m., beginning Monday, September 4th.
Labor Day annually marks the date when the road gates of Fort Donelson close at 6 and vehicles are to be off of the park roads before the gates close.
The grounds of the national park remain open until sunset, allowing those parking outside of the road gates ample time for exploring the battlefield.
