Union City, Tenn.–We are a few weeks away from the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. The Union City Tennessee Fire Department will host its 5th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Discovery Park of America. First responders, in full gear, will climb the Cooper Tower staircase 10 times, which is the equivalent of the World Trade Center’s 110 stories.
The stair climbing event is open to current and former members of the fire service, police, EMS and military. If you are among these rescue workers or know someone that is and would be interested in representing one of the 343 first responders that lost their life on 9/11/2001, you are welcome to participate.

This event is held in conjunction with The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
