Lawrence “Scotty” Hamilton, 80, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at his residence.
Scotty Hamilton was born Wednesday, November 4, 1942, in Paris, Tennessee to the late Lawrence F. Hamilton and the late Mary E. Pierce Hamilton.
He is survived by his sister: Gail Hamilton Watkins, of Paris; nephews: Kevin (Shanna) Watkins and Darren (Nicki) Watkins, all of Paris; and by great nephews: Jacob Watkins, Alec Watkins, and Kyle Watkins.
Mr. Hamilton was a graduate of E.W. Grove High School where he was an active athlete, playing both football and basketball. Scotty was an avid New York Yankees and TN Vols fan.
A private family celebration of life will be planned and burial will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
