Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Fair has opened to good crowds, with grand opening ceremonies today at 5 p.m. The carnival also opens at 5 and this evening’s schedule includes the family circus, petting zoo, Cash Cube money grab, live music from AC-43 and more.
With extreme heat in the forecast all week, Fair officials are advising people to hydrate and stay in the A/C and shade as much as possible while at the fair.
Organizers are saying what an amazing turnout there was for the Cornhole Tournament over the weeend. 54 Teams, 108 players battled it out. The tourney started at 4 p.m. finished by 9 p.m., with players from Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Arkansas.
