DUI Arrest Made After Downtown Collision

Paris, Tenn.–A McKenzie man was charged with DUI after a four-vehicle wreck in downtown Paris Wednesday night. No one was injured in the collision.

Alan Nunnery, age 61, was charged by Paris Police with DUI after what Assistant Paris Police Chief Ean Reed called a chain reaction wreck that damaged all vehicles involved.

According to the report, Nunnery was driving a white pickup truck southbound on Market Street when his vehicle struck a parked car, which then pushed into another parked car which pushed into another. One of the cars knocked over a city street sign which hit the Market Street Boutiques building. A city light pole also was damaged.
