Mr. Franklin Dee Hurst, 81, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 15, 2023m with his loving family by his side.
He was born Tuesday, January 13, 1942,in Lake County, Tennessee ,the beloved son of the late Alvin and Nora Coleman Hurst.
Franklin loved the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.
He was a skilled welder in construction.
Franklin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.
He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Marshall; son: Jeremy Hurst, of Paris, Tennessee; daughters: Donna Cashion, of Dover, Tennessee; Cynthia Cole, of Dresden, Tennessee and Tammy Servin; seven brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to be announced at a later date.
