The Obion County School District is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its students in the TCAP and EOC tests, placing the district among the top in Northwest Tennessee. The results highlight the dedication and hard work of our staff and students in achieving academic excellence. In comparison with other school districts in Northwest Tennessee, the Obion County School District has achieved remarkable rankings in various subjects:
– English Language Arts (ELA): The district secured the 5th position overall in Northwest TN for ELA. Notably, we placed 4th in 4th Grade ELA, 3rd in 6th Grade ELA, 4th in 7th Grade ELA, and clinched the FIRST position in 8th Grade ELA, showcasing our students’ exceptional skills and knowledge.
– Mathematics: In the field of mathematics, the Obion County School District ranks 6th overall in Northwest TN. We achieved the 2nd position in 6th and 7th grade Math, FIRST in 8th Grade Math, and 5th in Algebra II, demonstrating our commitment to fostering mathematical proficiency among our students.
– Science: Our district has secured the 3rd position overall in Northwest TN for Science. Notably, we ranked 5th in 3rd Grade Science, 2nd in 6th Grade Science, 3rd in 7th Grade Science, and 2nd in 8th Grade Science, highlighting our students’ strong foundation in scientific knowledge.
– Social Studies: In the field of Social Studies, the Obion County School District ranks 5th overall in Northwest TN and 5th in 8th Grade Social Studies, showcasing our students’ understanding of historical and societal concepts.
