Mrs. Naomi Mathis Pulley, 86, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee.
Naomi was born Friday, April 30, 1937, in Leachville, Arkansas, the loving daughter of the late Harry and Cordelia Rodgers Nunnery.
She was a devoted and caring nursing technician, working in several nursing homes and hospitals.
She also enjoyed her work as a physical therapy instructor for several years.
Naomi was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her bible.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and spent many hours tending to her gardens.
Naomi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: William Pulley; sons: Tommy Lynn Morris, Charles Steven Mize and David Mathis; daughter: Kathy Ann Mathis; one brother, and several sisters.
She is survived by her daughters: Linda Mize Masterson (Billy Yurconic), of Clarksville, TN, and Kristie Lynn Mathis, of Granite City, IL; son: Kevin L. Mathis, of Dover, TN; sisters: Beulah Buck and LouAnn Haskins, both of Inverness, FL; grandson: Blake Mathis; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
