Paris, Tenn.–Yes, it has happened again. A vehicle has crashed into the infamous brick wall at the intersection of Tyson Ave. and East Wood St. in Paris again. The latest collision occurred at 4:08 a.m. today when a driver from Port St. Lucie, Florida, in a rental car crashed into it. The driver told Paris Police officers that he thought the road kept going straight. According to the police report, the driver failed to negotiate the turn. The driver was transported to Henry County Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The wall has been the target of numerous collisions in recent years and was in the process of being repaired again when the latest crash happened. (Jordan Holland photo).
