Paris, Tenn.–A Weakley County single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a young Buchanan man over the weekend.
Zachary Drake “Zac” Cole, age 22, of Buchanan, passed away as a result of the accident, which occurred on Saturday July 29.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, Cole was westbound on Hwy. 54 in Weakley County when he exited the right side of the roadway, hitting an earth embankment. His vehicle went airborne and came to an uncontrolled rest on its roof. He was driving a 1994 GMC Sierra. He was wearing his seat belt.
Zac leaves his father, Ronnie Cole; mother Peggy Sydnor; his son Rowdy Cole.
