Mayfield, Ky.–The city of Mayfield has recognized and thanked all of its first responders of the Mayfield Police and Fire Departments who responded so quickly and efficiently during the severe flooding event on Wednesday. Officials said, “We also want to highlight our Public Works Department who also responded swiftly and continue to work so very hard for our city– many times they are the unsung heroes, and we wanted to thank and recognize them today as well!
