Graves County, Ky.–Travel in Graves County, Ky. is treacherous as several county roads have suffered washouts and sinkholes after Wednesday’s catastrophic flooding after 11 inches of rain fell in one day. Soveral roadways remain closed.
Sheriff Jon Hayden is continuing to ask everyone to use extreme caution, especially on secondary and county roads. The county road department has been marking the locations with traffic cones.
Repairing all damaged roads and bridges will be a big task on our road department employees, he said.
