South Fulton, Tenn.–Congratulations to South Fulton Middle & High School Principal Laura Pitts on being named one of nine finalists for Tennessee Principal of the Year.
Pitts is one of three finalists for West Tennessee. The other two are Renee Marks of Memphis-Shelby Co. Schools and Christopher Morris of Tipton Co. Schools.
The nine finalists represent each of the eight CORE areas in the state as well as three finalists in each of the Grand Divisions of Tennessee: West, Middle and East.
Obion County School officials said of Pitts, “We are so proud of her”.
