TVA will require a planned outage Thursday night, July 6 from 11:59 PM until about 2:00 AM Friday, July 7 for the Gibson Electric Membership Corporation.
TVA says this is the first of two outages it will need to replace a piece of failed equipment. Gibson Electric has attempted to telephone members who will be affected. Communities affected will include Rutherford, Dyer, Yorkville, China Grove, Walnut Grove, Bells Chapel and the surrounding areas.
Officials said, “We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.”
