Mr. Ken Youmans, 81, of Martin, passed away 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at AHC Union City.
Ken was born Sunday, February 22, 1942, in Bernhards Bay, New York, son of the late Herman and Mercy (Metot) Youmans. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Roger Youmans, Robert Youmans and David Youmans.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Mt. Pelia Baptist Church.
He married Ramona (Hagerman) Youmans February 23, 1963. She survives.
He is also survived by three sons: Phillip Youmans (Lorna), of Burlington, Iowa, Andy Youmans (Amanda), of Syracuse, New York, and Daniel Youmans, of Martin; two daughters: Linda Weed (Jerome), of Lacona, New York, and Karen Youmans, of Raytown, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gene Youmans (Anne), of Talbot, and Edward C. Youmans (Rose), of Bernhards Bay, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at East Side Cemetery in Martin. Brother Elwood Doss will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at service time.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
