Henry Co. Grand Jury Issues Indictment In Pedestrian Death Of Paris Attorney

Paris, Tenn.–Meeting Wednesday, the Henry County Grand Jury issued six indictments, including counts of vehicular homocide and driving under the influence against a man charged in the death of a Paris attorney in 2022. A $1M bond was set.

The Grand Jury indicted Clinton Cole Rogers of Scotts Hill in the death of Paris Attorney Bill Neese July 16, 2022. Neese was the victim of a pedestrian fatality on Hwy. 79N.

The indictment charges Rogers with two counts of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence of of an intoxicant or drug. According to the indictment, his blood alcohol content was “.08 percent or more, being 0.162 percent, thereby committed the offense of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.”

In other indictments:

–Robert William Quinn, two counts of aggravated sexual battery involving a juvenile less than 13 years old and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

–Former PSSD employee Allyson Palmer, charged with theft official misconduct and fraudulent use of credit card. (See separate article).
