Martin, Tenn.–Kaci Merrick, of Kenton, was recognized May 6 for completing the University Scholars program at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Among the program requirements is completion of a senior project in cooperation with a faculty member. Dr. Joe Ostenson, professor of psychology and department chair, and Dr Angie MacKewn professor of psychology, are pictured with Merrick, who received a bachelor’s degree during spring commencement exercises. MacKewn served as her faculty mentor.
