
Paris, Tenn.–Ronnie Sharp was picked up this morning from the Obion County Jail and transported back to Henry County by Sgt. Jerry Wilson and Deputy Jimmy Cole. Sharp was one of two inmates who escaped from jail. Sharp was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Union City.
Sharp and Joshua Harris escaped from the jail together by prying throught the cell ceiling, then prying open a skylight on the roof. Sharp was in jail on numerous pending charges that include kidnapping, aggravated assault, assault on an officer, evading arrest, theft of property and burglary. Harris was apprehended Monday evening near the Tackle Box on Hwy. 79N.
