
Paris, Tenn.–After 39 1/2 years of dedicated service, Paris Fire Chief Michael Williams, Sr. will be retiring at the end of the month. Join the city of Paris in sending best wishes for a happy retirement and an afternoon celebration honoring Chief Williams and his hard work at a Retirement Reception from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Paris City Hall.
Everyone is invited.
In anticipation of Williams’ pending retirement, longtime Paris and Paris Landing firefighter Jamie Hinson was named Fire Chief for the city of Paris to replace Williams.
Hinson is a 12-year-veteran of the Paris Fire Department and has most recently served as Assistant Fire Chief since December of 2020. He has over 25 years of service in firefighting and emergency services.
