MARTIN, Tenn. – Several Henry County residents were among students who received degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin during spring commencement ceremonies held May 6, 2023. UT Martin hosted two in-person commencements to recognize the accomplishments of the class of spring 2023. Each commencement was livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube for those unable to attend.
The students receiving undergraduate degrees were:
- Buchanan – Elaina Rose Wood.
- Cottage Grove – Clay McCord.
- Henry – Graci Beth Ellis.
- Paris – Kara Grace Barnhart; Emily Kate Brown; Harrison Wayne Cook; Angelina Sophia Culley; Libbie K. French; Emily Ann Hudgins; Emily Ann Hudgins; Savannah G. Maxey; Paige Nicole Roberts; Lathon E. Ross; Lon Heath Sowell.
- Puryear – Britian Lee Hutson.
- Springville – Matthew James Nanney.
The students receiving graduate degrees were:
- Cottage Grove – Raven Lee Wyrick.
- Paris – Amy JoAnn Nichols; Selena Nicole Rutherford; Kenzie Grace Williams.
