Paris, Tenn.–The City of Paris has rescheduled its public input session on the planned application for an inclusive playground and facility grant. The session has been rescheduled to 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 26 at City Hall.
The session had originally been set for this Thursday, June 22, at 5:30, but the meeting was reset due to an HCMC Community Forum that has been scheduled for that time.
The purpose of the city’s public input session is to discuss, inform, and gather ideas and suggestions for an inclusive playground and facility grant. The purpose of this grant is to provide children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a safe place to play and learn alongside others who may or may not have disabilities as well.
City officials plan for the playground to be located at Ogburn Park.
As we reported in a previous article, the HCMC Community Forum is set for 5 pm at KPAC.
