Paris, Tenn.–Correy Stroope of North American Caviar in Paris now holds the Tennessee state record for the largest Silver Carp, weighing in at 42 pounds and 9 ounces.
North American Caviar officials said, “Correy Stroope is in the thick of the carp initiative. This award is well deserved for all of his hard work over the years. We are so proud of you!”
North American Caviar is a licensed wholesale fish and caviar dealer and Asian Carp processing and packaging plant in Paris. The company opened in 2019 and its commercial fishermen have removed over a million pounds from Kentucky and Barkley Lakes.
