Mrs. Marcy Reid, 64, of Union City, passed away 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at her home.
Private graveside services will be held.
Pallbearers will be Jack Nanney, Johnny Nanney, Scott Bowman, David Hamilton, Chuck Doss and Rick Hatler.
Marcy was born March 12, 1959, in Martin, daughter of the late Morris C. Doss and Betty (Phillips) Doss of Union City. She married Scot Reid August 21, 1981. He survives. She was the owner of the former Scarlett Rain Dress Shop in Union City and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Marcy loved her children, grandchildren, horses and dogs.
She is also survived by one daughter, Lindsey Reid of Union City; one sister, Sheryl Rapp of Union City; five grandchildren, Scarlett Matheny, Rhone Matheny, Violet Buckland, Iris Buckland and Tristan Buckland all of Union City; one niece, Alexandra Buckland (Will) of Union City; two aunts, Kathy Wilson of Dresden and Barbara Hamilton (David) of Kentucky Lake; four cousins, Candi Wilson of Florida, Keely Nanney of Martin, Allison Wingo of Nashville and Blanton Hamilton of Nashville; and her sister-in-law, Suzanne Doss (Chuck) of Union City.
