Summer Kayaking with the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association is this Saturday at 9 a.m.
Enjoy a morning of paddling on nearby waterways with neighborhood guides. Join them for a 9 a.m. departure from the Atkins-Porter Rec Center parking lot, corner of Walnut and S. Highland. Bring your kayak/canoe, transportation, lifejackets, water and snacks. Attendees must sign a waiver. This event has no rain date.
They will be doing this again on the second Saturday of July and August as well. All are welcome to participate… even first timers. Paddle with veteran kayakers who can help you if you’re brand new.
This is also not limited to just the A-P Neighborhood. If you love the water you’re more than welcome to come and participate.
