Paris, Tenn.–Hundreds packed into downtown Paris Thursday night for a relaxing and musical evening as the annual Tennessee River Jam kicked off with performances by Nikki Bobo, Almost Famous and Jason D. Williams, who seemed to channel Jerry Lee Lewis. Thursday night’s concert was free, with food trucks on site and downtown restaurants open and busy. The River Jam continues today through Sunday with numerous musical acts at several local venues. Today, the Jam moves to Paris Landing State Park where Johnny Mac, Drake White and Chris Janson will begin jamming at 5:30 p.m. The Piano Men will perform at The Breakers and the Back Lot Pickers will be at Blues Landing for a free concert.
