McKenzie, Tenn.–The McKenzie Police Department is seeking help from the community in identifying the people who vandalized the Obion River District Association Church building Thursday.
The vandals damaged the interior of the building with cleaning solutions, hand soap and paint. They ripped speakers out of the ceiling, ruined pews and electronics and defaced an American flag with paint.
As the building was being checked on Thursday a window was found to be open on the north side of the building, which is located on Linden St.
Officers set a perimeter and then cleared the building and found no one inside. Officers had been at this building at approximately 2 A.M. that morning and the window was found open shortly after noon.

Police are following up on multiple tips that we have already received as well as working on processing evidence from the incident.
