It may be the first annual, but it’s a definite success. A total 114 players are competing in this weekend’s Eiffel Tower Classic Pickleball tournament at Eiffel Tower Park in Paris. Players have come from all over the area, including several other states. The play continues through Sunday, with food trucks on site. A winners’ podium is set up by the Eiffel Tower. The public is invited to watch and enjoy the games. Organizers remind everyone to bring their lawn chairs to sit on. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
