Puryear Day: Parade, Live Music, Petting Zoo, Games, Food Trucks & More

Puryear, Tenn.–Puryear Day is Saturday, May 20 and will be loaded with activities, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., rain or shine.

Activities will include the grand parade, 5K run, Froggy Live broadcast, petting zoo, kids games and prizes, face painting, dunk tank, arts and crafts, silent auction, food trucks, Lions Club hot dogs, Puryear birthday cake cutting, Puryear Fire Station tours, Puryear Train pictures, corn hole tournament, The Alton’s and Fajita Brothers bands.

The 96-year-old restored 1927 American LaFrance Paris Fire Truck will be on display by the Henry County Historical Society.

Parade is at 10 a.m. Fire Station tours start at 10:30 a.m. Silent auction 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Petting zoo 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Middleton’s guess-the-weight of the log contest for power tool 11 a.m. Lions Club hot dogs 11 a.m. Dunk Tank 11:30 a.m. Antique train photos 11 to 5 p.m. Cornhole tournament 1 p.m. The Alton’s will be on stage 2-4 p.m. The Fajita Brothers on stage from 7-10.

Pre-registration required for 5K run/walk. Registration at 7 a.m., with event to start at 8 am.
